Why Shouldn’t Parents Use Physical Punishment?
It happens many times that children tend to behave in a very odd way and they usually misbehave with the parents at the tender age. If you will not put stop on their behavior then they tend to become spoil. It becomes very necessary for the parents to put a break on children’s misbehavior. They should take help of the physical beating and punishment to make their child learn a lesson. In case they do not get any punishment then they repeat the gestures and it becomes their habit.
Parents might be choosing physical punishment as spanking to stop or prevent undesirable behavior. This kind of punishment stop the bad behavior for a while, but this punishment doesn’t change boy or girl aggressive behavior. Many people are teaching discipline to his or her child to choose good behavior. If any child doesn’t know good behavior, boy or girl is likely to return to the bad behavior. One more important thing is the any type of physical punishment is very less effective by the time and also can cause the child to behave aggressively because of that treatment. Other methods of punishment are preferred and it should be used whenever possible.
Only one time request the behavior. Give reward to child only when he does exactly what u want. Without involving yourself help the child where ever he need your help. Instead of any reward children need parental attention first because any negative attention from parents is as good as rewarding to children.
When you teach your children statement like, “play time will be over in 5 minutes,” are more helpful. Struggle between you and your child are avoided by this system. You must tell your child if he or she is not behaving like you told they will be punished and they would also not get the reward.
All these are the reasons why beating is important at times for the children. It all done to control the behavior of the children and make them sensible enough to understand that they are doing something wrong.
